How do I become a member of CYP?

Fill out our membership form by clicking here, and mail it along with your annual dues to CYP, PO Box 6681, Charlottesville, VA 22906. You may also pay online through CYP's page on Meetup.com

How much are dues?

Dues are $35 per year and you can join at any time. The sooner you join, the more sooner you can start having some fun. Dues are prorated if you join later in the year. See the membership form for more details.

How do I get on the Email List?

Join or renew your membership! Remember all memberships expire on December 31st. Also make sure you have a (free) account on Meetup.com. Information and reminders about events sent out via this site.

What is the age range of your membership?

Most of our members are between ages 21 and 45. However, people who feel that they fall over this age range are more than welcome at our events, as long as they are young in spirit.

Is CYP a "Singles" organization?

No. While many of our members are single, many are also couples, married or dating. Basically a mix of fun people who are interested in meeting new people and trying new things.

I do not know any CYP members, can I attend an event alone?

The majority of our members attend events by themselves. We have over 100 members, so there are many new members at every event. If you do not know anybody, tell us when you RSVP to an event or when you arrive, and the event host will be happy to introduce you around

I have a venue or idea that I think would be good for a CYP event. How can I get the word about it out to you

We are always looking for new and exciting venues and ideas for events. If you have any suggestions, please email them to us at info@cypinc.org. You may also post suggestions to the 'Idea Forum' on Meetup.com.
